02 Ingredients
2 Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick)
½ cup All-Purpose Flour
1 Egg (beaten)
1 cup Breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Paprika
½ tsp Onion Powder
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
2 tbsp Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil (for frying)
03 Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) if you plan to bake the pork chops for extra crispiness after frying.
Step 2
Set up a breading station:
In one shallow bowl, place the Flour.
In another, beat the Egg.
In a third, combine the Breadcrumbs, Garlic Powder, Paprika, Onion Powder, Salt, and Black Pepper.
Step 3
Dredge the Pork Chops in Flour, coating them evenly. Dip in the beaten Egg, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to make sure the breadcrumbs adhere.
Step 4
Heat Olive Oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded pork chops for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Step 5
(Optional) For extra crispiness, place the fried pork chops on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5–10 minutes to ensure the interior is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 145°F / 63°C).
Step 6
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Step 7
Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
