02 Ingredients
2 cups Cooked Chicken (diced)
1 cup Mixed Vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)
1 small Onion (chopped)
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
1½ cups Chicken Broth
½ cup Milk or Cream
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
½ tsp Dried Thyme (optional)
1 sheet Pie Crust (store-bought or homemade, top & bottom)
1 Egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
In a skillet, melt Butter and sauté Onion until soft.
Step 3
Stir in Flour to make a roux, then slowly whisk in Chicken Broth and Milk until smooth.
Step 4
Add Chicken and Vegetables. Season with Salt, Pepper, and Thyme. Simmer until thickened.
Step 5
Line a pie dish with one sheet of Pie Crust. Pour in the chicken mixture.
Step 6
Cover with the second sheet of Pie Crust, sealing edges. Cut small slits on top for steam to escape.
Step 7
Brush with Egg Wash for a golden finish.
Step 8
Bake for 30–35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
Step 9
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
