02 Ingredients
½ cup Butter (softened)
½ cup Granulated Sugar
½ cup Brown Sugar (packed)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
1 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
½ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt
1 cup Chocolate Chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together Butter, Granulated Sugar, and Brown Sugar until smooth and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in Vanilla Extract and Egg until combined.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, whisk together All-Purpose Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until fully incorporated.
Step 5
Fold in Chocolate Chips.
Step 6
Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the center is still soft.
