Shrimp Scampi (Quick Garlic Butter Shrimp)
One of the most popular quick shrimp dishes in America, shrimp scampi is made by sautéing shrimp in butter, garlic, white wine, and lemon juice. Light, zesty, and flavorful, it is commonly served with pasta or rice for a quick yet elegant meal.

02 Ingredients
250g Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
3 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Olive Oil
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
60ml White Wine (or Chicken Broth)
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Lemon Zest (optional)
Salt (to taste)
Black Pepper (to taste)
Fresh Parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Optional Cooked Pasta or Rice (to serve)
03 Method
Step 1
Pat Shrimp dry and season lightly with Salt and Black Pepper.
Step 2
Heat Olive Oil and 2 tbsp Butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Add Garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4
Add Shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Step 5
Pour White Wine and Lemon Juice into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Stir in the remaining Butter until the sauce is glossy.
Step 7
Return Shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.
Step 8
Garnish with Parsley and serve hot with Pasta or Rice.
